Olive oil

Virgin olive oil is a good natural moisturizer and is recommended for dehydrated skin. It is rich in vitamin E. Like jojoba oil, olive oil is similar to the oils naturally produced by our skin and is absorbed well into the skin. Typically, it does not cause allergies. A study published in 2017 highlights the antioxidant compound ability to prevent a poptoticcell death in human keratinocytes exposed to UVB, suggesting that the ingestion of virgin oil may help prevent UVB-induced skin cancer.
